The year was 1984, and we had just signed an agreement to become the first ever Authorized Ameritech Agent in Central Ohio. Displaying amazing foresight, we hired two gentlemen, Tom Barrett and George Arnold to staff this new division.

Seventeen years later, Tom and George are still with us, and still handle virtually every cellular phone and pager that goes out our door. They've seen every trend, technology, and product imaginable, and we joke that they have forgotten more about the cellular industry than anyone else even remembers.

It's hard to describe what a valuable asset it is to have that kind of experience on your side, especially in a technology-driven business. It seems these days that the products and protocols change every day, and employees change even faster. Have a two year old cell phone that you bought elsewhere? Good luck finding someone there who still knows anything about it (that is, if the company is even still around).
